Viking Photoshoot

Pro Exposure Photography have been involved in a Viking themed location photoshoot recently. We ventured off to a local woodland location to create a variety of images using the local landscape for props. We had some great weather and the lighting in the woods was so powerful with hard sunlight pushing through the trees to help create some drama.  We took some studio flashes which were used to light our model and balance against the natural light and even overpower it in some cases where we wanted a different look. The whole photoshoot was so much fun and all involved were amazing from makeup artist to model.

The makeup, costume and accessories were just what this shoot needed to create an authentic looking Viking shield maiden. We had planned a wide variety of photos which included some close up portraits so we could show off the makeup and details of the costume.
